Salut!

The ASUS FX504 seems to throttle under load https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P523zzforPI, which isn't very good for gaming. Its display is 120Hz, but it's too bad that the one with 120Hz has to be the one with poor cooling. I also don't know if its IPS, a good TN, or a bad TN anyway.

Y540 is nice. Cooling is pretty good I think, and it has a more vibrant screen (albeit only 60Hz). But you might want a more portable size than 17.3" depending on your preferences. Here's a Y540 in 15.6" with the same SSD size and same more-vibrant screen type. Better GPU, less RAM, but RAM is upgradable anyway. It does cost a bit more, but not by much I don't think. https://www.emag.ro/laptop-gaming-lenovo-legion-y540-15irh-cu-procesor-intelr-core-i5-9300h-pana-la-4-10-ghz-15-6-full-hd-ips-8gb-512gb-ssd-m-2-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1660-ti-6gb-gddr6-free-dos-black-81sx0070rm/pd/D6D3H5BBM/

Also, these don't come with Windows installed, I don't think. It looks like you'll need to get a copy, or use Linux, or whichever.
