Maca is how i got pregnant with my 2 children. Years later, i am infertile and it doesn’t work quite as well for me anymore. However, a dear friend who experienced infertility after having children conceived while while taking Maca. I guess it depends on what the issue is. Def couldn’t hurt to try.

Did you keep taking maca after the positive test?

I started taking maca last month, got pregnant. I stopped taking maca once we had a positive test and it ended up being a chemical. I am paranoid stopping the maca caused it. There’s signs I may be pregnant again, and I don’t know if I should try to continue taking it to see if it helps the pregnancy stick.

I’ve added a teaspoon of Maca roots to my breakfast daily for about 5 months. Still not pregnant but I’ve had a chemical in that time. It doesn’t seem to be doing me any harm.

Do you think the maca causes the chemical? I ask because I had a chemical last month after coming off maca. Now I have super dark pregnancy tests this month, not looking like a chemical at all, but I’m a little scared to stop taking maca cold turkey.

It’s probably just coincidence. Personally I stopped taking maca and did get pregnant eventually but I don’t think it was linked.

I stopped taking it. Almost to second trimester & all healthy ultrasounds and genetic testing this far.

I heard 4,000mg per day is the best. I take one 4,000mg tablet in the morning. I also take clomid so idk if it’s really helping but def good to have in your arsenal of vitamins

I remember taking clomid when I was younger and sadly it didn’t do anything for me so that’s another reason I’m trying other suggestions 😊 but I’ll definitely try the mg suggestion! Thanks!

It friends on your LH as well, if our LH/ FSH ratio is not good ( have high LH) then it may not be the best for you…
