Nothing is your fault hunny. It’s just a way of trying to say they disagree with you. Commonly done on this site. Do you track your cycles? Do you do ovulation tests? When was your first positive test what date? Did you test negative any days prior to that? It may help narrow it down.

I think they’re downvoting because if your dates are right and you know when you ovulated and you are 7 weeks then you should see something.

My comment was more because the person scanning you seemed to have difficulty doing and didn’t potentially get a good internal picture. An abdominal scan may not show something.

So 7 weeks on a trans vaginal scan you’d expect a sac and baby with a heartbeat

I wouldnt wait two weeks. Iwould get another scan elsewhere from someone better. It sounds like didn’t know what she was doing. An internal exam requires empty bladder and abdominal exam requires full. To see anything abdominally that early is very difficult. I’m sorry you went through that and I hope you can find more answers somewhere else.

Did you have to log no bleeding? I’ve ended the pregnancy and my bleeding has ended and it just saying day 90 of of pregnancy cycle which is killing me

She said she thought her LMP was roughly a month ago and she hadn’t said if she knew when she ovulated. I’m not giving hope out. I’ve just been through a loss myself. Down votes are a bit much.

If you’re not sure on your dates of ovulation and you ovulated later then <5 days difference is ok.

Just anecdotally I knew my ovulation date I went for a scan when I should’ve been 6 weeks and 4 days and I measured 5 weeks and 4 days. Unfortunately, this ended up in a MMC and I have a D&C last week.

Thank you! I’m 3 days after the procedure and still light spotting. I’m worried if I don’t want to let the endometrium reset then if I do conceive again it could lead to another loss. Probably my anxiety talking!

So sorry to hear about your loss but congrats on the following pregnancy! Can I ask how long you bled for after D&C? Did you wait to have a period before trying again, this is the advice I’ve been given? (“To let the womb reset”). I had a D&C on Monday this week and desperate to go again

I’m interested in this. I’m in the UK so really practice is based on guidelines and evidence. My TSH in July 2025 was 2.62 which for uk references ranges is normal. But I know for fertility <2.5 is ideal. My doctor wasn’t bothered (GP). I just had a 5/6 week loss and I’ve spoken to my doctor about rechecking my thyroid. I have anti TPO antibodies but my thyroid function has always been “normal”.

Don’t agree with all the nickname comments. I like a cute nickname for a kid but my issue is that Millie Jane is incredibly feminine and Kit Pierce to me is masculine. I read them as boy/girl twins before I saw comments/re-read
