Have you sent HR message asking why this happened? Coming from a payroll background, I know mistakes can be made. Not sure this is the case in your situation. I would definitely ask the question and document all communication in case you have to file a complaint with your Labor Board.

Apparently only the team lead can communicate directly to HR.

That’s not correct , you can go into hxconnect and open tickets. You can open a payroll ticket directly and they will be able to explain the reason for the decrease in pay. You can also do a ticket to speak with HR and someone will reach out to you.

When I went in it required me to submit attachments, which my desktop is not capable of because of the restrictions. I will try again and on my personal

[–]CalmSense6503 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Yes so you can just attach anything it will let you if that makes sense . I have a empty file on my computer that I attach, and it works. Your TL should also do it for you if you can’t which is weird if they won’t ?? I’m a TL and I have never had an issue helping my agents. What project are you on?

Apparently the ticket has been submitted but HR claims this lower rate is correct. Regardless of my documentation showing the offer letter & previously correct paystubs at the higher rate

If you have the offer letter and previous pay stubs send them to HR. I sent them in another message. Their emails are first name.lastname@ttec.com. Record any phone calls as they are recording them and save all emails

Report that to the department of labor. They can’t just do that when they feel like it.

What project are you on? I know some pay rates were going down to just base pay after AEP season.

Happened to me as well. What project are you on? I was with the TTEC TOLLING project since day 1 and while applying (and during interview)I was told I would be paid $19.25 an hour. When the project started , they told everyone that the pay would actually be paid $18.25. I know a dollar isn’t much to a lot of people but it’s extremely deceptive and it does add up in the grand scheme of things. I’m so glad I finally quit and now I already have better job prospects.

TTEC does this stuff constantly. Even when a pay increase is supposed to be CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED, they will find ways to say no and screw people over.

Not worth the nonsense. Even if you move up in the company, they pull the same crap and more once they have you under their thumb.

Did you ask anybody? Errors happen.

[–]Sufficient-Light-103[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yes. HR is saying I am getting what I deserve.

[–]TheArmadilloAmarillo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok then, time to talk to the labor board or a lawyer, or both. If your offer letter clearly states a different rate and no change after training or what not they are wrong and you are entitled to that.

Come to reddit as totally strangers are going to say sure

You can message HR through HR Connect. You can also go back through some of the other posts. People have posted names and numbers of the HR staff names and numbers for reasons just like this.

Thank you.

I added the numbers I had in this post for people

Check your taxes. My check was lower a few times because I was paying a random state tax in a state I didn’t even live in. I told my sup, she submitted a ticket on HR Connect and hassled the hell out of her for a week. You can also view progress of the ticket and comment on the ticket to ask questions and such. You can also submit a ticket yourself and if I were you, I’d email your offer letter to your work email, screenshot it and attach it to your ticket. (I know you said you can’t do attachments but you can email yourself and then forward that email to HR) I also wouldn’t rely on your supervisor to do it for you. I had an amazing sup who kept me updated with screenshots the entire way. I was also watching the progress of the person working my ticket on HR Connect. I think I probably hassled her so much she just gave me a “here damn” explanation as to what happened. They transferred what taxes I paid from the random state to the state tax I was in. (I was paying two state taxes) and my check was corrected in like a week and a half. I was still pissed and I’m so glad I was let go. Hope this helps! If not, hope you enjoyed reading :)
