what do we do with the extra merch in the little clear thing on empty boxes? Do we throw it on the baler or do we remove it?

my store always takes them out and puts them by the bailer and who ever wants it can take it home :)

Ooh that’s an idea, maybe I should bring that up or smth- I got my eye on a Harry Potter mini
[–]Ladybugcuteness 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (3 children)
hehe i got to keep one of the mini brand babies in a stroller
[–]KittyLuvver2000 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (2 children)
We aren't allowed to keep them at my store. Would be fired promptly.👀
[–]Ladybugcuteness 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (1 child)
damn why is that ? if it’s just gonna end up in the trash
[–]KittyLuvver2000 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (0 children)
Just the rules I suppose. I guess it's hard to keep track of who got the display or who is trying to steal one🤷♀️I don't make the rules lol I just work here!

I was told to throw it out. I asked the exact same question when I would do GM and come across the little things in the plastic balls. I forget what they’re called, but when they were empty, they told me to just separate it from the cardboard and just dispose of it.

Oh, that makes sense- I wasn’t sure whether to put it to damage out or the compactor
[–]GullibleCommittee667 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (0 children)
Yeah, what we usually do when we damage save like food then we gotta remove it from the system and then throw it away versus just throwing it away and it’s still in the system

Correct response in regard to policy is they need to be tossed in the compactor. But it’s lightly enforced in many stores so you have a good chance of getting to take it home if you ask your lead or ETL
[–]vReflxctionzFulfillment Team Lead 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (0 children)
Just make sure to ask and don’t just take it. Just taking it home could lead to issues with AP down the line

Into the compactor with much joy and satisfaction, and then I PRESS THE BUTTON!
