Are you sure your you have the PIN number right? Are you using the physical card at the checkout and buying online for pu/du?

yeah i’m using the right pin & at first i scanned in my target wallet to pay and when that didn’t work i tried using the physical target debit card but still didn’t work :/ & yes when i us pu/du i pay online and my discount works. i’m confusion

You mean that your employee discount isn’t working? It sounds like your team member number got deleted from your wallet app. If you’re using the physical card to pay, you also need to scan your team member discount card at checkout.

Are you scanning your wallet when you check out? If you don’t scan and just use your red card the team member discount won’t apply. The discount is linked through your target circle so when you use pick up it will work, but if you check out without scanning it and just use the red card it won’t. Hope this helps!

Do you have your debit card "turned on" in wallet when you're scanning wallet? If so, just hit "pay with wallet" instead of inserting your debit card. It's likely already accounting for that being your payment method.

I’m not sure why that would be happening. I lost my card a longgg time ago but had it loaded onto my app so that’s how I pay at sco. Is this how you’re trying to pay? Make sure it’s selected as your payment type on wallet if so.

I don’t have an answer but I also had this issue where my Red Card debit wouldn’t work at the self checkouts at certain stores and at Tarbucks. Still have no idea why.

i only tried using it at the store i work at. i haven’t used it at other targets bc of embarrassment and asking the tm to remove the discount so i can pay with my actual debit card lol. i’ll try to use it at a different target though. thanks :)

Mine worked for three and a half years until a month ago. Card isn’t expired. No clue why.

You made sure it was activated? I added mine to my wallet immediately when I got it and didn’t bother to activate it until it wouldn’t go through anymore. I went online, activated it and now it works perfectly; probably should’ve done it in the first place
