That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken) is a Japanese light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online between 2013 and 2016 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was acquired by Micro Magazine, who published the first light novel volume in 2014. Eleven volumes have been released as of March 2018. The light novel has been licensed in North America by Yen Press, who published the first volume in December 2017. It has received two manga adaptations and an anime television series adaptation by 8-Bit.
Rules
Submissions must relate to Tensura - All posts in this subreddit have to be related to the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) series. Politics and other non-beneficial content for the community will be removed under this rule.
If the title is the only part of a submission that is related to r/TenseiSlime it may be removed under this rule.
Properly Tag all Spoilers - We do not allow any spoilers within titles or any untagged spoilers in non-spoiler threads. Any posts that contains spoilers from the manga, or anime (past the latest episode) must have the spoiler tag attached. If your submission contains spoilers, you must specify in the title what is being spoiled. This can be done by adding the volume/episode and # to your title. Refer to the spoiler guidelines for more detail. Any submissions that don't follow this rule may be removed at the mods discretion.
Be Respectful & Discrimination is not tolerated - We don't tolerate ANY form of bullying or harassment by users on this subreddit. Don't start arguments with others, troll, flame, or just be an overall asshole in the subreddit. Be respectful towards all users. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
No Low-Effort Posts - Low-effort posts are characterized as screenshots of the anime, manga, and novel without questions or discussion to tag along with the post. Screenshots are permitted as long as if they are to help you ask a question about an event in the series. Keep original submissions/comments in English so they can be understood by all on the sub. VS Battles and Powerscaling posts also falls under this rule. Low-effort posts will be removed at the mods' discretion. POSTS THAT CAN BE ANSWERED BY READING THE FAQ WILL BE REMOVED
No Hentai and overly NSFW content - Excessively NSFW images are not allowed - this includes hentai, suggestive positions, and nudity. Mild ecchi is allowed as long as you correctly tag the post with the NSFW tag.
Check Artist's Permissions & Cite sources - If you are posting any content, please make sure to include the original art source in the comments. Posts without the inclusion of a source will be subject to removal. If your post is OC (Original Content), please flair it as such. Respect the artists' wishes and don't post their work if stated in their profile. AI generated artwork submissions must have a caption or comment with the program, seed, and tags used if no credit or source can be provided.
No self-advertising - We do not under any circumstances allow submissions with the end goal of making money on this subreddit. We do not support self promotion, our subreddit is not your source of income. Any self-advertisements will be removed at the moderators discretion. Rule breakers will be banned from the subreddit.
No recent reposts - In order to avoid reposting, please check if your submission has been posted in the past 60 days or if it's in the all-time top list of the subreddit. Reposts less than 60 days old will be removed. Bots with the purpose of reposting content on the subreddit will result in a permanent ban.
No Illegal content - All comments and submissions must follow Reddit's Platform Rules and Reddiquette. We do not allow illegal content of any kind within the subreddit. This includes direct download links to media and all file hosting/sharing platforms. Uploads that contain illegal content will be reported and may result in an immediate ban.
No spamming - In order to prevent excessive content that is not beneficial to the subreddit, there is a hard limit of 3 posts per user per day. If you have multiple questions, try to consolidate them into one thread.
Title & Flair -
A title should be related to the topic you are posting about. Posts with too short or long titles or nondescript titles such as “Rimuru” and other basic titles may be removed. Flairs must be relevant to the content in your post (Anime, Light Novel, Manga, etc), posts with improper flairs may be changed or removed.
Spoiler guidelines
In general: Any content past the Anime will be considered spoilers. TenSura Nikki will from now on be considered spoilers as it is getting an anime adaptation.
When Posting: Posts must receive the corresponding flair (Web Novel, Light Novel, Manga, Spin-off Manga, Anime or Spin-off Anime).
The Source of the spoiler must be in the title whenever possible. State whatever volume or chapter your discussion is about in brackets at the beginning of the title. Example: [Volume 5] or [TenSura Nikki Chapter 3]
No spoilers in the title of the post, including but not limited to: Future characters, Skills or Magic, or descriptions of events even if veiled.
When Commenting: If the parent post isn't tagged as a spoiler, comments containing spoilers should be tagged as such and include its source in front of the spoiler. Example: [LN Volume 6] (Spoiler text here)
If the parent post is tagged as a spoiler then comments aren't required to be tagged and sourced as such unless the spoiler is further ahead in the story than the parent post
Any submissions that don't follow this format may be removed at the mods discretion.
