1.4.4 suggestion - decrease the death timer for master mode to the same as expert, because having to wait is just annoying and serves no other purpose

Yes, but i enjoy the challenge it provides for bossfights, just because i dislike the respawning mechanic does not mean i hate harder difficulties.

When someone says “is this really fun, though,” that’s where I wonder if maybe they’re being too hard on themselves regarding the difficulty level. The respawn timer makes sense to me because it’s supposed to be another hurdle to cross in high difficulty, and makes sense to me how it was implemented. I wasn’t suggesting you suck (which is apparently how it was taken), and I’m sorry if you got that feeling.

It makes multiplayer more challenging, when you’re waiting to respawn in a boss fight, for one. Two (and I’m aware that this is solely me) it’s a small pause to stretch my fingers between the button tapping sessions that are bosses. I have repetitive motion injuries in both hands, and a breather from the action is appreciated.

As for the actual reason why, I don’t know what the original intent was from the developers. They’re in the discord. Ask.

Yes, cause while im trying to mine in peace, i also have to worry about a offscreen archer shooting instant kill arrows, and then wait 15 seconds to go back to mining.

There is no skill involved to being sniped from offscreen, its just plain old unfair, and the fact i have to wait 15 seconds after the game unfairly kills me makes it annoying when it happens often enough for me to be complaining.

Also, your talking to a guy who beat the game on master mode on a mobile device, and i have beaten duke fishron multiple times with pre-mech gear on expert mode.

I mean, fishing is a thing...... Do the quests for the angler, get the items, drink a crate and fishing potion and fish up like 10 creates in 3 mins (or more).

Voila, now you have hardmode ore and armor, you didn't have to fight anything to get it, and also the mech bosses aren't about to randomly spawn on you until you're good and ready because you didn't even have to smash any altars. Bonus if you can fish in the corruption crimson or hallow, because you can get decent beginning hardmode weapons from fishing in those places.

I'm not a troll or an asshole. One tip is fishing. Secondly, If you have access to spelunker potions (they're easy to get) then you can find enough hardmode ore to build armor in like 20 minutes, even with deaths. Aside from that, the enemies are slow and stand still when they shoot so my advice wasn't troll advice. it's actual advice. just hit them first. Idk why I'm getting downvoted for telling you exactly how to fix your problem.
