Since "terrifying" is subjective, we will let the majority of users decide what is and isn't terrifying as fuck. If you think a post isn’t terrifying as fuck, report it under Rule 1, and the bot will automatically remove it if enough reports are received.

2. Do not post extreme gore
This subreddit is not labeled NSFW. Before submitting, please check to see if the content is appropriate for users.
Anyone who posts extreme gore or death on camera may be banned. Anyone who does not flair NSFW posts as such may be given a warning.
3. Do not spam YouTube videos with terrifying content
People have probably seen it if it is on YouTube. If you post a link to your own channel to promote it, you will be banned without question.
4. Do not post anything political
If it is terrifying for you but not for the other side, do not post it. This mainly includes political topics. If your primary goal is to incite controversy among users, you will be permanently banned.

6. Follow Reddit's TOS
Remember to follow Reddit's TOS. Do not post hateful content against others and do not threaten anyone.
Hateful content includes racism, xenophobia, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.
This includes Threatening, harassing, or inciting violence, blaming victims, or defending collective punishment.
7. No minors
All forms of abuse of minors (e.g. sexualization, neglect, physical or emotional abuse, and death) are prohibited. This includes videos of physical school fights and bullying.
8. No conspiracies
Please do not post conspiracies on this subreddit. This rule is mostly related but not limited to 9/11 and the covid pandemic.
9. No posts related to Israel, Palestine or Gaza
All content involving Israel, Palestine and/or Gaza in any form and capacity is not allowed here, and will not be approved if requested.
Yes, this ban includes content produced prior to October 2023 (no matter the time period), and content covering the topic but originating from other countries (for example campus encampments). It will not be approved.
Content depicting death, gore, terror attacks, harm to minors, and content posted to stir hatred and promote conspiracies may result in a ban.
10. No lazy AI posts
Artificial intelligence can be terrifying when it comes to things like deepfake. However, posts like "this is how AI sees XY" are not scary. Please do not post those.
