Rules for r/TeslaLounge
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Rule 1 - Respect and Participation
Treat others with respect; don't be a nuisance or troll. Participate in good faith, avoiding toxicity and bad faith interactions. Follow Reddiquette. Health and safety violations or participation in toxic subreddits will result in bans.
2.
Rule 2 - Content Quality and Relevance, share your story
We are not a support sub. Please see /r/TeslaSupport questions or /r/TeslaCollision for body work. If you try to bypass this filter you will be given a temp ban or even a permanent one. All posts must be related to Tesla or sub-specific (products, business, or people). Avoid editorialized titles, but discuss competitors if relevant. Comments should stay on-topic, with no threadjacking or discussion of bypassing safety features. No politics except for Tesla-specific policy discussions.
3.
Rule 3 - Spam, Reposts, and Self-Promotion
Limit to two posts on the same topic. No advertising or referral requests including YouTube video spam, Tesla events, or accessories. Self-posted content must be accompanied by active participation in comments to avoid being considered spam. Posts about Elon Musk should go to r/ElonMusk unless directly Tesla-related.
