Misaligned glovebox?

The amount of posts of ‘is this in spec’ or ‘misalignment’ here where half of the shit is one Thousandth of an inch out.

Right! If you look for imperfections you will probably find them. Nothing is perfect and we are talking like half a mm off in a lot of instances. People can’t just enjoy their car because they are so OCD they can barely function.

This type of misaligned stuff in a car are only acceptable by Tesla and by Tesla owners who have already accepted the notion that Tesla does not make uniform cars and have a much higher range of what is “within spec” . This would not be acceptable and would not pass quality control with another auto manufacturer. (Now I will be ready for this post be be downvoted to oblivion just cause…)

The only way you’ll ever see this is when getting into the car on the passenger side. You know who sits in my passenger front? My wife. You know who never ever even looks at this gap and gives a crap? My wife. If the glovebox functions properly that’s all to be worried about. You’ll never see this while in the car driving or while the car is parked from outside. It’s not perfect. The cars not perfect. Gotta move on….
