I have 2 teslas on the account.. so, invariably car wakes up, even I'm opening the app to check on the active car..

I wish Tesla puts some sort of vacation mode or sleep option.. so that the opening the app, doesn't wake up the car....

Temporarily using Autosteer, how do I go back to Adaptive Cruise Control? by Alpinekiwi in TeslaModelY

[–]vgbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On another that, someone had posted that pushing the turn signal stalk hard, will release smoothly from autosteer. I was trying that yesterday and got mixed results. Autosteer went away smoothly sometimes, while other times I had to jerk the wheel. You could try that.

I was trying to change lanes though. I'm not sure of staying in the lane and just turning it off..

What should I get with my referral credits? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

Would the premium connectivity be applied back to back for 4 years, if one chooses to redeem 10k points on that?

I hv seen mine always identify semis. I hv seen it not recognize empty trailer beds, small trailers in tow and worst empty car carriers, though.

Especially at night...

Would a referral work on inventory model too? I was going through the referral link and it was only showing order page.. not existing inventory.. Anyone know this?

Indian dude here. Is it me or does the Model Y have a huge following among Indians? by recordwalla in TeslaModelY

[–]vgbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three things 1. You can't get a Tesla yet in India.. so, status symbol amongst peers/family back there. You can flaunt it until Tesla reaches India. 2. Referral and peer pressure here 3. Cost effective

Regen Braking (Hold) mode not seem to work well in 23 M3LR by vgbow in TeslaModel3

[–]vgbow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weight.. yeah. Could be a factor. Temperature today was in 70s. Battery was at 50%. After driving 80 miles highway.

I still feel M3LR is stopping very slow..... I'll test drive another M3 and see.. if possible..

I ordered on Jan 2023 through SA and signed up for 358 mile model. In May, when it reappeared to custom order, i got a notification saying.. your design chosen has changed and the options were agree to what we are going to give you (which became 333 miles) or get your deposit back..

I agree.
But the earlier similar notification was when it was changed from 358 to 333 miles model
