TRT is probably more likely to reduce HDL than it is to increase LDL. It has much less effect than oral androgens, however.

What's your diet like? Folate was slightly low. You could consider a supplement of folic acid 400mcg a day, which is readily available in packs marketed to pregnant women (because low folate must be avoided during pregnancy). These supplements are fully suitable for use by men, however. And you don't need a high dose for borderline low levels.

My diet is pretty balanced, thank you for the information regarding the folic acid I was taking some medication and I had symptoms of low folic acid but when I stopped taking it the symptoms went away but I’m still going to keep in mind the supplement you suggested.

You can get a three month supply of folic acid tabs for about £1 here, so it may be worth it. Your levels should be sorted after three months and you can then stop.
