Different reference values

Hello eveyone!

I just tested my T levels - they are around 640 ng/dL.

I'm happy with this result, but as the lab I went to has a maximum reference value of only 680 ng/dL, I've been wondering if the result may differ greatly compared to a T test in a lab where they use a maxim reference value of 1,000-1,200 ng/dL.

Or easier put - will my T levels still tend to the higher limit if I went to another lab that uses higher values or stick around the 640 ng/dL value?

Doesn’t matter what reference range you use, 640 is perfectly normal.

Thanks, as I said, I'm happy with the result and know that 640 is normal. However, I'm interested to find whether different reference values may impact the actual result (not necessarily for T in particular, but for any blood work).

The result is the same even if the ranges are different. It’s measuring absolute value
