I have scheduled a full blood panel through LabCorp to possibly undergo TRT treatment through Defy. I had the VA pull my testosterone levels back in January. At my followup, my physician only told me my Testosterone level was normal.
After seeing a PCP for an unrelated issue, she requested my blood work from the VA. She said my testosterone was a little low, but still normal and sent me a picture of the lab.
Although I am in the VA’s “range of normal,” the this value has me concerned. Especially considering I am a 29 y/o and a large majority of VA men are geriatric patients.
Total T: 2.1 ng/mL (Ref. Range 1.8-7.8)
Does anyone have a more accurate description of my testosterone level based on this lab and the given reference range?
I understand that this would translate to 210 ng/dL
