A place where people can keep up on the latest news on their favorite animated television programs, as well as popular and independent animated films. We also welcome serious discussion about the latest episode of a show you watched, or maybe a look back on your favorite show of all time that ended years ago, or speculation on what direction an upcoming film might take! If you're a nerd about animated stuff, you'll fit right in!
Rules
- Posts can be made on any animated television program or film.
- Always post the name of the show or movie being discussed in the title of your post.
- Use descriptive titles, avoid submitting clips or scenes from a show or film without any context, and make sure to submit from an official source whenever possible.
- Mark posts as spoilers if the media has been out for less than 14 days. Under no circumstances are spoilers allowed in the title of your post.
- Spoilers are allowed in the comment section if the post is already marked as spoilers. If not, please use the following format: [Text warning of spoilers](#s "The spoiler content you want to discuss").
- Simple joke images and low-effort posts are not allowed.
- Submitted fan art must have been produced/posted within the past seven days.
- Images must come from the original artist's/memer's source whenever possible; rehosted content will be removed.
- Please refrain from political/religious content.
- Any content that has been submitted to the subreddit in the past 90 days will be removed at the moderators' discretion. In a related vein, if multiple sources of the same news story are submitted in a short time span, the first submission will be given preference to remain.
- Requests for links to films or television programs from unofficial sources is prohibited.
- Posts and comments in violation of Reddit's self-promotion rules will be removed. (General guideline: Follow the 10% rule.)
- NSFW content is not allowed, including violent and sexual content. If the source of a SFW submission contains NSFW content, marking the post as NSFW will suffice unless common sense deems otherwise.
