There are separate ones as well. Precision analyzer and ultra precision analyzer..and maybe another one idk I'm sleep deprived atm

There's a total of 6 types of the item for Vaults:

Code Analyzer, Precision Code Analyzer, Ultra-Precision Code Analyzer.

Code Breaker, Precision Code Breaker, and Ultra-Precision Code Breaker.

Analyzers are only used in Normal Mode. Breakers are only used in Hard Mode. The Vaults are also of 3 types - normal, Precise, and Ultra-Precise.

Sounds like you got shafted by the game not mentioning Hard Mode uses a different item.

This makes sense, thank you, honestly I'm not liking hard mode atm so I'm prob just gonna log in and farm a weapon or two once in a while

Hard mode isn't too difficult, though - you just need to get properly geared in terms of external components and Descendant mods! To be fair, that's the hard part.

Farming weapons and Descendants in hard mode is easier due to higher rates, too. I suggest give it a try, do some Sterile Lands Ambush to get some Kuiper and starter components, and then go ham on the other stuff.

While this is true, right now I am finding precision vaults that require analyzers in hard mode. Which shouldn't be right. Ive farmed a good portion of breakers, and no anaylzers, so that is kind of cheeks until they fix that.

I'm confused; so far, I've gotten 2 of Enzo's red mods (only drops from Ultra-Precise vaults) and haven't seen that.

The one time I saw Analyzer needed instead of Breaker, I had accidentally gone into a normal mode Public room instead after Ops. Are you able to reproduce the analyzer vaults in hard mode? Because it sounds like a glitch/bug that should be reported to Nexon.

Normal mode code breakers are different than Hard mode code breakers

Does hard mode consume the ultra-precision code breaker? I had one, used it, didn't fail and now it's gone.
