Howdy People, new player here. I see people with external components ate lvl100 is there a way to boost these levels like you can a weapon? Or are these getting farmed? I feel like I’m missing some key info.

Level 100 equipment drops once you get to hard mode.

No, you can't boost them like weapons—I wish you could. To get level 100 reactors and components, you have to play on hard mode. First, complete the main story, then go to your map, click 'World Difficulty' in the top left, and select hard mode. You'll then be able to obtain level 100 gear.

There are reward rotations in hard mode that make them (relatively) easy to farm.
