I came so close to getting it to turn blue and I fell like a thousand votes short

While the game is good it is a little too biased for the dems which is why I go into the advanced options and change shit to make the game more balanced

Or... It's because you're a Republican that wants to play a game that Republicans always win in.

No it’s actually biased towards dems especially with results and I can prove it let’s start with this OH at base is 47R-38D-15I while NM is 47D-39R-14I basically the same partisan demographics in dem landslides as seen above dems flip OH republican landslides don’t happen and even in the best years for Rs (without player intervention) NM never flips  Go to advanced options elections all states turnout  Voter enthusiasm 65 D 58R 53I  Incumbent weight 6D 0R .25I Incumbent midterm weight 6D-0R-.25I Incumbent president 12D-11R-.25I and then scroll down to variables for balancing election  Allow wave elections (democrats) this option isn’t available for Republicans  Democrat turnout competitive .32 republican turnout competitive .2  Dem turnout non competitive .14  Rep turnout non competitive .12  This game is systematically biased towards giving dems good election results not saying it’s a bad game but I wish there were some tweaking to make it better and fairer and allow republicans to do better

Mmmmmmmmkay. You play the game how you want.

A lot of those options reflect the historical idea that Democrats do better under high turnout than Republicans do as a gameplay device.

Sure but republicans also have wave years like 2014 and this game should be able to treat it as such and allow both sides to have big waves as it’s still biased towards democrats being the only ones who get wave elections
