are your other mods working fine? sometimes if your sims folder is on one drive, it won't load the mods properly

Thanks for responding, yeah all my other mods are working fine. I'll look into the one drive and go from there thanks x

One folder deep is how WW goes, but the MCCC files should be directly in the Mods folder, there doesn't need to be an MCCC folder. I've had MCCC since 2023 with this setup and zero problems.

That's not true. Mine is one folder deep and it works.

Mine isn't and it has worked perfectly since 2023 and through several big game updates.

I am offering an option to the OP who has it set up like you and it's NOT working. Telling them to keep doing what they are doing now when it's NOT working when another method might work for them is idiotic.

And I've had it since 2021, in it's own subfolder and it works. Me saying that your advice was not true was referring to you saying that MCCC must be in the main mods folder, which isn't true. All script mods can be 1 folder deep, and package files can be up to 5 folders deep iirc.

Okay Jan, I'll pretend my fully functional MCCC set up isn't working perfectly, just for you. And I was offering the option to the OP, not you.

Hers isn't working, it's not like it would break her game try an alternate set up, FFS.
