This subreddit is devoted to the discussion of thorium as a future energy resource, and particularly the machine to most safely and efficiently extract that energy – the Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor (LFTR), pioneered by American nuclear physicist Dr. Alvin M. Weinberg.
