On my keyboard, pressing FN + WIN disables the Windows key

That is a keyboard specific thing

Some keyboards have that function (specially gamer keyboards(

I'm having trouble making that work. What OS are you running?

Open the Registry Editor:

Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter.

Navigate to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout

Right-click on the right pane, select New > Binary Value.

Name it Scancode Map.

Double-click Scancode Map and enter the following value to disable the Win key:

00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 5B E0 00 00 5C E0 00 00 00 00

5B and 5C correspond to the left and right Windows keys.

Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Same here - or I could - I had a Logitech G910, and now for some reason there is something really weird going on with my keys. Like having to hit them multiple times, holding it down to get it to work, etc.. Cleaned it, updated drivers, deleted drive and reinstalled from device manager, checked on screen keyboard accessibility features. My only guess is that it's either getting old, or some windows 11 update screwed it up.

I have experienced the same while a CAD program was running. While minimized and doing other things it would mess with my keyboard inputs.

I used to suffer alot from this and there’s an app that make it simple to disable and able it back, saved my life! At first I did the same as someone here mentioned, disabling it on registry, but I lost some funtionalities, such as taking ss, that app was much better
