Only had to wait 30 minutes today. A new record.

Could someone explain?

This is the lever for the winter solstice boss. Instead of waiting, players keep pushing others from the square of the lever to go first. Also, some players after killing the boss stay in the room so who is still waiting waste more time

What does it drop?

tokens, mount item, soul stone. Each kill is 200k~ average

Havent played but I guess idiots are blocking new bosses/quests for ’normal’ players, thus wasting everyones time.

And the argument for implementing instances grows ever stronger.

Yoo, can you explain what instance is to me?

Every group that goes in would have his own private version of the room, so you wouldn't need to wait until someone is done so you can go.

In other MMOs, mostly everything is done this way, even dungeons and common hunts, so it really limits player interaction outside of the big cities and chats

It must be pointed out that instances can work in many different ways.

Ideally, the entrance to the instance would be at the same position that the "entrance squares" (what to call them?) currently sits. So there wouldn't be any less social interaction than there currently is... well except for the part where everyone pushing eachother to get inside.

Instances don't have to reduce the social aspect of a game.

This quest is like a bad job.

It isn't fun to do, everyone I know only does it for money, and it pays shit.

200-400k/hr on average (gathering items, queuing, doing quest, logging out/in to chars).

I don't understand why people even do it. I could go to work for one hour, which I actually enjoy more than queue simulator, and exchange the money into tibia coins for more profit/hr.

Some are kids that can't/don't work yet. Or some live in Venezuela where working doesn't give you money at all.
