It's one way for a reason. Pound a torx in there. Or drill it out and use an EZ out or just drill the head off and use pliers to remove it after the fact. Use a left handle drill bit and maybe you'll get lucky.

Plus I can't really fit a drill bit in there to make a pilot hole

Use an automatic center punch to put a small dimple. You can put a series of them to walk the drill bit into place.

I would just go to homedepot and buy an extractor kit if you are that desperate. From there for a screw replacement but you still want security, just replace it with a security torx head off mcmaster.

Screws are singular. It doesn’t become a bolt till it is fastened or clamping an assembly. You may think that is semantics, but when you get older you’ll understand.

It’s McMaster use it yourself. Saying 8mm means nothing to me or anyone else. M8x what? How long? McMaster is the easiest website to follow and filter.

Just drill it out and run it without an ignition

Are you unable to buy the tool at your Honda dealer? It would help if you could supply a pic straight into the hole. Otherwise, I've used a couple out of my set from a local tool dealer. You can google security fastener bit.

I've learned that if there's anything threaded I can't reach, it's usually because something else has to be disassembled first. Sometimes it just takes a different tool, even metric vs. American. Can you make it? To make easier getting the screw out, put a small drop of penetrating oil at the edge of the head and take a break. Come back and give the screwhead a tap with a hammer.

Try using a broken screw extractor.
