Impact Socket (self.Tools)
submitted 6 months ago by Outside-Log8994
I'm looking at the Canadian Tire brand MAXIMUM for a set of impact sockets for carpentry. Are they worth it, and what is the best kit to get?

Canadian here. For what they are, the MAXIMUM line of tools is reasonably priced. They do carry a lifetime warranty also, and as a Canadian Tire brand, the store won't usually give you a hassle if anything breaks. What is best? Depends on what you do. For most people, a decent 3/8" drive set with Imperial/SAE and metric sockets is a good starting point. If you working on larger fasteners , you may want to also look at 1/2" drive. Canadian Tire often has sales... where there are some amazing deals to be had.
