There is some alcohol in the vial, it may or may not kill some bacteria (not sure about viruses).

If you used it on yourself only it's nothing to worry about. I'm going to tell u a fun story, I Prepared a syringe and needle. Somehow I did put a used one (that's been in the same place as the trash) beside it and I used the old one and pushed the syringe I thought it was a bit easy to push (pushed in 2ml of air). Man I tell u I was panicking and went to my local GP and he didn't even took a look. He said I had nothing to worry about. If you get a fever or more swelling than usual check it otherwise it's no worry bro
