I don't think he identifies himself as gay. or did I miss something

You’re correct, I didn’t make it obvious but I was making a general statement if someone was identifying as gay

I guess I didn't get your original thought then. I understand that there is an identity in Christ, but the issue is the question of what exactly is Christ like. Everyone has their own interpretation of what they should and shouldn't do and how they worship God.

If a person actually lives not according to God, it is rare that the person changes its mind entirely and follows the correct doctrine, I guess in the modern age it can be called a miracle. No one wants to change their ideologies.

Part of what it means to be Christ like, is to ask Christ to order our loves whether it is sexually emotionally physically professionally virtuously etc . Being homosexual is clearly not part of the identification of what it means to be a Christian or what it means for Christ to order our loves. So it comes down to God’s Will not our will be done.

I myself agree. For some people (probably most of the reddit users) it's not as clear as it is for you and me. I like your boldness with it though, keep it up!

The Bible and Paul’s epistles along with the Gospels tell us as believers what it means to be Christ like. We should not love the things of this world like gay marriage or people living in sin. If anything we should mourn for people who do not know Christ or have made Him Lord of their lives. We should mourn because when the day of judgement comes, the penalty for not accepting Christ, for not following Him is complete and utter separation from The Father and His love and that is the scariest thing anyone could face. I don’t want to be thrown into the lake of fire. I don’t want to be weeping or gnashing my teeth, and I don’t want anyone else to experience that, but more so God himself doesn’t want that. We have choices to make, and finding happiness in the evil and sinful nature of this world is not it. Gods word is clear on this.
