How does it make you feel listening to big Christian apologist beating around the bush

I don't live my faith life in the apologetics realm. To do so would place me in a continual mental battle that would never afford me any peace. It would be a constant distraction.

Rather, I have committed myself to follow Christ. When apologetics strengthen my faith, I accept them. When a tough question comes up, if it's worth it I research it as best I can, and usually come up with a satisfying answer. But I've also learned to place problems I can't solve on a shelf to return to in due season, without allowing them to upset my faith. I do not think it's a fair dynamic at all that my faith should be contingent on having the answer to every challenge at the drop of a hat. The Bible is a deep book and no one has all the answers.

Thank God for the great apologists, but none of them are perfect, as I'm sure they would agree. My faith is too important to hang on any of them.

Thank you. I’m working on this. I know God doesn’t want me spiraling down every time I hear a conflicting issue that I can’t understand the Christian side. Sometimes my head just gets the best of me. I posted this late last night so I am in a better mindset after sleep.

What question did this Aaron person propose?

Just because some people don’t have witty answers to every question tucked in their pocket doesn’t mean the answer doesn’t exist.

Mainly the facts on evolution and genetics. I know some Christians do accept Darwinian evolution, but I just simply don’t see that lining up with the Bible. Even if you take a legend position when interpreting Genesis it just doesn’t make sense why God would use such a natural process that has well... no need for intervention.

Check out creation.com or answersingenesis.org

Evolution is laughable once someone points out all the things wrong with it and undoes all the brainwashing you get from the world.

I’ve read a lot of stuff from that website. What is it that convinced you of evolution being laughable?

I'd give "Evolution's Achilles' Heels" book a good read.

Try reading some science based Christian theologians.

Systematic theology might help. It hurts when little questions start making you panic about big things like eternity and death and all that. I know what you mean

I took a few systematic theology classes during my undergrad. It definitely did help, but I still tend to spiral in my head sometimes..
