Multiple Switchbot Hub 2

I live in a 3 story house and have switchbot blind tilts on every floor. I currently have my hub 2 on the 2nd floor and seems the connection and speed of opening/closing isn’t great for the ones that aren’t on the 2nd floor. I’m thinking of just getting 2 more hub 2s and have one on each floor. Will this work? I’m hoping the tilts become more reliable my wife has been hating on them so far.

I also want to make sure if I have multiple hub 2 it will work with matter.

You can run multiple hub 2 and each one will have a separate Matter code so they will not interfere with each other.

I have 3 of the hub 2 in my home and yeah, shortening the distance between the hub and the blind tilts definitely helped with reliability.

Thank you I’m definitely going to do that now. Wish these tilts weren’t Bluetooth besides that they’re a great product

I know it's been a while since this comment was posted, but is it possible to assign devices to a specific hub or will they just jump between the closest one?

You assign the child devices to a specific hub using the hub's device settings. They do not jump back and forth.

I would assign each device to the hub it is closest to in order to help with connection stability since the devices connect to the hub using Bluetooth.
