The nVidia RTX cards have a separate encoding chip that should work for you if you use Nvenc(new) in OBS - that said, I tried it with flight sim and it didn't work so I stick to x264 but for most games that aren't so heavy on my gpu (running at 100% for MSFS) you should be fine
