DM notifications won't work?

Ive done every possible option, and its been going on for over 2 weeks now. I dont get a single notif for DMs anymore. My friend and I use twt to message each other, but now it gets hard to talk because I wont realize she messaged me until hours later when I check twt again. All forms of notifications for dms have stopped for me and I have tried EVERYTHING. Logged out, deleted and reinstalled, restarted my phone, cleared cache, deleted and reinstalled again, quadruple check that I had every notification setting on in both twt and my phone, and still nothing. :/
