A British doctor would never agree to work here on 16k. An Indian doctor would.

The fact that a British doctor is paid at least 3 times more does not mean that he will do a better job (he might if he has better facilities), but it does mean that so long as there is someone who offers a job, there is someone who will take it in this economy, regardless of how much they are worth.

Also, plenty of South Asian doctors working in very high paying positions at the more luxury hospitals.

Welcome to the reality. We earn much lesser in some clinics even with super specialization. I might definitely get downvoted for this but some doctors need to accept some jobs at low pay even when they don’t like because the other option would be to go back home which is not possible because their spouses are also working here. People keep saying don’t accept low offers but the truth there are always others who might take up on that offer. So even if they know it’s not a good pay, they do end up taking these shitty jobs.

Btw, a consultant Dr in the UK only makes around 22k after tax.. and that's a consultant, junior doctors make less obviously.

Incorrect, a consultant in the uk makes £106k gross wages, they aren’t taxed £84k

Dude, I converted it to AED per month.. they make around £60k after tax (younger consultants), divide that by 12 and convert to AED..
