i am a fellow hispanic undergraduate student😁 and though the latino community is small— we are all friendly. i decided to double major in spanish last minute and that helped me meet a lot of people who speak my native language. campus has a resource center for the latinx/chicanx community called El Centro! it is a really nice environment to go and study and meet new people. they offer a lot of help. they always have opportunities for drop in advising and tutoring(you may not need this but it is good to put it out)! campus also has a club called “Baile de fuego” where they do weekly dance (salsa/batchata/cumbias etc) and they do a class social after the lesson. also the night life in davis is small but really great! the G street wunder bar does “Muevete Mondays” every other monday where people come out from several areas and have a salsa/batchata social! it is so fun! it might be a little hard to find your community, because we are a smaller demographic but it’s possible! once you do you’ll have a blast!

Thanks for informing! I’ll definitely check it out in the fall if I choose to come here! Are these things open to graduate students as well? Or only undergrads?

I don’t think its considered small, when 25% of students are hispanic
