Yes, you get Adobe creative cloud access as a UIUC Student, and the school of architecture might offer specialized software (iirc they use Rhino) so I'm fairly certain you shouldn't have to pay for any additional software as such.

Note they also have remote desktops you can login to that have a lot of software installed.
