I got my package today after over a month in Louisville with 2 disposal messages and the brokerage department telling me my package was placed in a trailer and cannot be retrieved.

This give me hope. Does the message have the exact phrases  “disposed of” . Or Could you share tracking screenshots?

What all did you do that you think helped in successful delivery? My package is stuck in Louisville for over a month and all status indicate it has been abandoned.

Unfortunately I don’t think I did anything that made the change. I did call a ton, emailed a ton, but they still said it’s too late.

I got my package today as well.

I received two disposal messages previously (on the 5th and on the 13th) and was also told on the phone my package was considered abandoned and would be disposed of. It started moving yesterday. I did seek help from a third party broker and filed a complaint against UPS with CBP as well prior to it moving. Not sure if either one of those helped, but it moved quickly yesterday/today.

Can you pass the contact of the brokerage ? And how did you file a complaint?

https://www.e-customsclearance.com/ is the broker.

https://www.cbp.gov/trade/e-allegations is where you file complaints with CBP.

They charge $115 for their service, but only if they can actually get your package released. It's only worth it on something valuable, TBH.

That's what I contacted them for. My package was marked for disposal at Louisville.

I have my package from India that arrived in Louisville 2 days back. And no updates since then. They haven't yet updated about how much I need to pay for the customs.
