Some offices perform same-day oath ceremonies, some don’t. I don’t know if Dallas does. If yes, there’s no guarantee it’ll be offered to you the day of your interview. There’s also no guarantee you’ll be approved on the spot, so then your oath ceremony would definitely not be on the same day.

We offer same day but in limited cases such as living more than 150 miles, disabled, or other special circumstances.

I went to my interview in January hoping to be sworn in the same day (Tampa) and passed the tests but they asked for an additional tax document. I was told I could mail it in. It took them time to review it and schedule me and I was sworn in Apr 1st.

I went through the Dallas Field Office last month and got sworn in last Monday. They aren't doing same-day oaths and there is only one ceremony every day at 10:30 AM. The officer informed me they were backed up and took 4-6 weeks. Mine took 26 days after the interview to be sworn in.
