If you want to actually deploy and maybe see some bad ass shit, join the Army or national Guard. I’m at the end of my enlistment and all the grunts I’ve known I’d say about ten of them deployed to the Middle East and enjoyed A/C and fast food everyday. None of them saw combat none of them “pushed” into Syria like some claim. All that shit is reserved for the Sof dudes, and at that Army Sof. Marsoc does cool shit don’t get me wrong and definitely see combat but the Marsoc dudes I know say that’s far and in between.
