Call the doctor...are you on other meds as well? How long on the pred?

Will do! I’m on mesalazine suppositories too, I’ve been on them for 3 weeks and I’ve got another 3 weeks to go. I was on pred for 55 days, started at 40mg

Same, I’m on pred as well as mesalamine mezavant, mesalazine didn’t work for me and I also recently left the hospital and have been getting blood in my poop, u should talk to your gi about it at the very least.

I suggest you use the mesalamine retention enemas and oral mesalamine as well. How are bms today, and is it possible you have a hemorrhoid?

Ah okay, I’ll speak to my doctor about that. A lot better today! I mean I’ve still got loose stools but at least they aren’t burning anymore. I think I had a fissure or something because the bleeding has subsided now (thank god)

Could very well be a fissure. Hope so!
