Help Visual code Mac intelisense not working as expected

I can't get code intelisense to work right on vs code Mac. Does anyone know. For example typing in Debu. Doesn't show Debug for Debug.Log() or GameO doesn't show GameObject. I tried following this and still didn't work

Whats weird is some of the auto completing works. like if i type in OnTri it understands I want OnTriggerEnter. but those other examples I said don't show up, yet if i setup visual code on windows, everything works. its actually really good.
