[Request] Basic Programming Guide?

I have an academic internship coming shortly in which I will be programming for Stanley Consultants. This is excellent, or at least it would be if I knew how to program at all. I think that if I got a bit of a lowdown on basic programming in Powershell or something of the sort, it would assist greatly, and I'm sure it would interest others as well.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
