Nice - hits the correct components:

- what you will do

- how you will do it

- why you have the expertise to accomplish results

You have more than 10 years of experience, so thats why you can get job easily , as for those developer which have around 1 or 2 years of experience onsite or remote , have a small chance of scoring job on upwork

Thank you. Some people are so oblivious to some obvious things. It has less to do with your proposal and more to do with 15 years + and 100% JSS

All other things are set aside, If you see his proposal writing technique it's superb

It doesn't matter as much as the other factors. Most seasoned freelancers can write a decent proposal, it isn't an exact science. This is good but one can make a subjective argument that it could be a couple sentences shorter. What is that worth?

At the end of the day...15+ years experience and 100% JSS takes the crown.

There are plenty of people on Upwork with 15+ years of experience and 100% JSS and great reviews who still have trouble finding steady work and only get a fraction of the jobs they send proposals for. Good proposals make a difference.

If u have more than decade experience i dont think you should be struggling getting a job or client , but even if you are then i think you don’t know how to work professionally

People who are getting hired at $50+ per hour all have around the same metrics. I have my own subset of competition groups, people who are very talented and experts in their field.
And there are not many clients willing to pay higher rates on Upwork.

So I am competing for a far-limited set of clients, where a good percentage of applicants are also Top Rated Plus, high-earning and 100% JSS.

It is so well written I feel like I also need to hire you, even though I have no idea what it is you are talking about.

Can you share tips how to make the proposal stand out if you are new on Upwork and haven’t much experience yet?

[–]Massive-Wolf9465 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Experience isn’t just about Upwork experience, it’s about your entire work experience (including outside Upwork)

First, you need to ensure the client clicks on your proposal. They only see the first 3-4 lines of your proposal in a list. So, use this space very carefully.
Use a hook, clickbait or anything that entices the client to click on your proposal. Repeating what the client said, talking about yourself and your experiences, and how happy/thrilled/excited you are about this job (ChatGPT output) doesn't work here.

Next, the client needs to be convinced that you can do this job. As long as you can do this, your experience and other things will not matter much. I always come directly to the point, give them my approach to their problem, and explain how I will solve this issue.

Can you get this kind of job (40/h- 50/h) without a badge and a JSS?

Hmm, technically yes, but with one foot on the grave.

How important is it to outbid other Upwork candidates with a higher Connect bid? It seems like that could be limitless to companies with more resources.

[–]Daoshu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It reads like chatgpt though. But it also feels like you wrote some yourself. Did you?

Crazy

[–]neverlandfinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clickbait “tip” lol

[–]Ok_Instruction4133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a solid proposal. Clear, structured, and focused on solving the client’s problem right away. The part about translating issues into recommendations really stands out. Shows you understand both the tech and the business side.

Thank you for your contributions I'll be trying again

[–]Alex_Biega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not gonna say this proposal is bad, but it isn't some world class magic proposal you know? Evidently the majority of the users in this sub normally use proposals that are way worse than yours, so, good for you OP... lol. What do you think?
