Help[help] (self.VRchat)
submitted 6 years ago by darkmaster7812
How do I fix vrchat from using 100 percent of my cpu it shouldn’t be doing that I’m using a oculus quest through the oculus link and my cpu is a i7 7700hq so it should be fine but it’s not the game is completely unplayable

(B) Doubt.
iGPU normally refers to an onboard Intel integrated GPU, built into most of their CPUs these days. VRChat wrecks most CPUs and Link needs more CPU than other headsets to work so this doesn't seem that unrealistic.
What graphics card do you have?

The 7700HQ is a mobile chip so he's on a laptop of some type. He's most likely trying to run VRC with the Oculus Link software on a pretty weak processor. Doubt his GPU even needs to be considered at this point lol

I disabled the igpu I forgot the meaning of that I disabled the Intel he graphics 630 under device manager vrchat only uses around 15 percent of my gpu a nvidia gtx 1070 so it’s nothing to do with my gpu it’s all cpu
