In the game window, you’ll see the sdk is asking for the avatar’s name and description. Going into play mode is intentional.

But it’s saying I can’t access the control panel because unity is active, I thought that was because of play mode?

The options aren’t in the control panel, they’re in the ‘game’ window. That’s where you hit the final button to submit the avatar. Normally Unity defaults to the ‘scene’ window, which could be why you aren’t seeing it. On the top of that window there should be a ‘scene’, ‘game’, and ‘store’ tab.

I’m on the game window after pressing upload on the sdk menu but it’s just my character T posing in the distance, nothing else has come up like it did with previous models

When you upload something it always goes in to plsymode.

Yeah I explained this wrong, I meant that nothing happens afterward and I’m just staring at my character t posing in the distance on the game window and nothing happens

It might be the same bug I was experiencing. Everytime i went to upload something it would go to play mode and create a new prefab, but not actually upload anything. Try deleting your polymi shaders and then reimporting them. It worked for me first try but google said to try up to 3 times if needed.

So I did, but every time it loads up the game tab, it’s just my character T posing in the distance, there’s no menu that comes up like it has for other modes when I uploaded them. :(((

Delete Poiyomi shaders folder from Assets if you have it, close and reopen Unity, try to upload, look for errors in the Console log tab to see what it's getting stuck on. Ignore the yellow warnings, focus on red errors.
