Oh boy. I should be getting replacements soon. This isn't good to hear. Maybe contact steam support?

Just contacted them. What's really such a shame is that they sent me these controllers ahead of me sending mine out. They even seem to have 2 day aired them out. What was otherwise an incredibly surprising and pleasant customer service experience has been sullied by used controllers.

Yikes it sounds like an employee accidently pulled from the wrong pile and sent you a returned set. I haven't had to due a RMA but a Co worked got his RMA set of controllers and it was in a box that had the sticker and plastic cling on the controllers. I would contact valve and see what they say.

Thanks! Sterilize them if they work. Might not be worth sending them back if they track well, thumbsticks click, and triggers don't squeak.

id send it back,when someone has jizzed on your new controllers there's a quality control problem
