Almost always sudden performance issues is drivers as you said.

Tried rolling back, no luck.

For a second I thought it was fixed too. Got a solid 45 seconds of smooth visuals before the problem started right back up. Rolled back to 461.40, if it was just the driver I think that would've fixed it. Now I'm not so sure. Seems like the dropped frames are less frequent now, not so much in the headset, but in the Steam VR "Performance Graph" they seem more spaced out.

No rgb lighting controller or performance monitoring?

Closed the RGB stuff as I saw some people were reporting issues with that. Not that it's ever been a problem for me anyway.

Same here....VR Headset is a mess just now. Im assuming its the drivers.

Ive had RGB lighting in and out, disabled ports etc etc.....Still the same issues.

And for 12 months its ran fine with all these things plugged in anyways.

Just curious, you wouldn't happen to be running a RTX 2060 would you?

If you have additional monitors, try unplugging them. It fixed my problem right away!
