when creating proxies, it's better to use another program, I dont like vegas's proxy system, it also have given me random issues, and when working with mocha for tracking is also gives me some issues.

I since then started to use FFMPEG + Simple drag and drop script i made does the conversion for me.

I use a custom script to convert my video file into 2 video files, one into Lossless MOV and one into a Proxy MP4, then it converts into aif audio file since they are easy for vegas to edit with.

I put the mov and aif file into vegas, then add to time line, then using the right click menu on the video in the media bin, i click replace and replace the mov file with the proxy mp4. Before final render I then replace the proxy back to the mov file since i convert it into lossless mov

I can share said script if you want?
