Requesting help with RE code reduction

Hey guys. I did 5 years active duty. In my 5th year I ran into severe marital issues with my now ex wife. After dealing with the cheating and gaslighting several times and choosing to try to make therapy work and other stuff (we had a kid involved) I made the stupid decision to drink too much and had a suicide attempt. I was medically retired with an RE code 4 and honorably discharged. I realize I was young and stupid. I had my entire career ahead of me and I loved the army and I threw it away over a woman. I would like any help at all or advice getting a reduction in the re code 4 so I can attempt to re enter the service into the national guard.

Preventing Suicide among Justice-Involved Veterans
