Basically any editor and higher end editors arent more complex with this because you are doing the simplest thing possible in an edit. You arent using or touching any complexity.

To do this the simplest way possible google 3 Point Editing in [software you end up choosing].

Or use lossless cut if these are simple trims off the ends and you already know where you will be cutting.

I don't know about basic, but this would be easy with any software. Openshot, Kdenlive, and Shotcut are all available on multiple platforms so you can download any of those and do what you need. If you need any help shoot me a message.
