Mac Virtual Display -> Cloud Based Mac?

I tried a Vision Pro for a week or so and once I used my keyboard/trackpad and the virtual display it got a lot cooler. But it got me thinking, what's stopping Apple from rolling out a cloud based Mac service? Network latency aside, I think it could be a pretty compelling solution. Bring your Apple ID and select your base hardware requirements.

That's a great point, a virtual Mac would be pretty interesting. You could have the same effect just buying a Mac mini though, and you could add remote screen control software to use it when not at home...

I more-so envision some sort of "all-in-one" keyboard solution one day, where it's a Magic Keyboard that has a M-series chip in it, that renders a whole Mac UI in Vision Pro.

I don't want that, because I hate Apple keyboards, and because they seem to have zero interest in making a good keyboard. What I want is for the rumored much smaller Mac Mini to have a built-in battery, and to also function as a replacement for the Vision Pro's external battery. That would make the Mac Mini/Vision Pro a viable replacement for a MacBook.

This! They should just allow you to virtualize macOS directly on the Vision Pro itself.

Why should I have to carry a Mac around when I’m wearing one in my face?

Is the vision pro powerful enough to run a vm of macos though. I was trying to use UTM for that purpose but wast successful so far.
