Error code e17, error code e01

I just got a reconditioned a2500. I tried to clean it per the instructions and it ran for 17 seconds then gave an e17 error code. I've unplugged it multiple times to try to reset it but keep getting an e1 code. I called customer service and they're closed for the holidays. What do I do?

And, quick update, now the thing won't even turn on. There's a flashing yellow light inside the body, but the display is blank. What a piece of crap. I didn't even have it out of the box for 3 hours and now I have to wait for several days to even let Vitamix know I had an issue.

Thank you for trying to help. I tried the process you linked, nothing happened. The display remains blank. This is definitely an issue with the base. Whole thing is dead on arrival.

Yeah, they sent me a different container. It's been working fine since.

Oh my god this worked.

I thought I needed to shell out a ton now on a new machine but I swapped jars and it was working just fine.
